Save Money by purchasing Re manufactured or Refilled Toner Cartridges

New printer ink cartridges are expensive, and if you have to print often for your business  it becomes a frequent expenditure too.  There are several things you can do to minimize the cost of Laser printer ink cartridges (besides printing less stuff). And while you’re saving money, you’re helping save the planet too because most of these tips for saving money on printer ink cartridges will also help create a more Eco-friendly home office.

1. Buy compatible printer ink and toner cartridges.

You don’t have to buy the name-brand printer ink and toner cartridges (a.k.a. OEM or manufacturers’ cartridges). Many retailers, such as Staples and Office Max, and numerous online companies sell compatible printer ink cartridges (a.k.a third-party, after-market or generic printer ink cartridges). These new laser toner refills are designed for your printer but usually cost significantly less.  Brewer Laser Services provides a cost effective toner refilling option that provides a high quality laser toner refill cartridge for purchase here in Oklahoma City and the surrounding area.

2. Give it a gentle but good shake

This is a great idea, but shaking the laser toner cartridge like your morning protein powder mixer will leave you with quite the mess on you and your surrounding area,  we call it a gentle shake.  Most people immediately start thinking about replacing the toner cartridge as soon as the print quality begins to degrade. Instead of that, consider doing this: Remove the toner cartridge from the printer, shake it a bit, and then return it back to the printer. Most toners have around 10% of their original volume still in the toner when you start to see streaks or print issues. Shaking the settled toner can get you enough toner to print another hundred or more pages (on average). Repeat this process until you can no longer print more than thirty pages of streak-free pages before you must shake it again. At that point, the toner needs to be replaced.

3. Have your ink cartridges refilled

While this is a viable option, most people find that having their toner refilled is a solution that often leads to disappointment.  Laser toner refills are exactly as they sound, just refilled, nothing inside the cartridge is replaced or refurbished.  Brewer Laser Services is constantly striving to provide the highest quality re manufactured toner cartridges to our customers.  We replace and refurbished all essential parts within every toner cartridge manufactured in our facility.
